I love reading. Like, I LOVE reading. Now, I’ve always been a reader, but went a long time without it. A few years ago, I got back into it, but mostly read thriller, suspense, dystopian, etc. Then about a year and a half ago, I read my first fantasy book. I had never read fantasy before, and being a horror girly, I stuck my nose up at the thought of reading something so cheesy. Then a long time friend of mine self published her very first book. Obviously I was going to buy it to support her, and that’s exactly what I did. (Before I continue, I’m going to link that very book HERE, as well as her SECOND BOOK HERE. Do keep in mind that she is self published, and these are her first two books. They aren’t perfect, but in my opinion the story is amazing and I will cheer her on until the day I die because she’s talented and she deserves it.). Now, much to my dismay (at the time), it was a fantasy book. I almost didn’t read it, but I don’t back down, and if I’m going to support you, I’m going to support you FULLY. That was my introduction to fantasy, and I loved it. When I finished that book, I went out and bought ACOTAR, and it has been all down the fantasy hill since then. I’ve even started reading a lot of dark romance, too. Younger me would be rolling my eyes so hard right now, but really, I’m so happy that I’ve opened my mind to this.
I have never done a reading challenge, but wanted to give myself an excuse to read more books (as if I really needed an excuse), and I figured the best way to start one, would just be by the alphabet.
These are mostly fantasy, romance, and thrillers, with extra genres mixed into those, of course. I’ve got my fingers crossed that a lot of them are spicy, but I guess I’ll see when I get there.
If you’re a reader like me, I would love for you to join in on the challenge. I am not going to do them in order, I’ll be all over the place, and I recommend you do that, too. I can even leave the template for you HERE and a printable HERE of what I’m reading. You can read something different, you might have already read some of the ones on here. But if you haven’t read them, I suggest you try it. Even if it isn’t the genre that you’re typically into, because it could open your mind to grand new worlds.
Here is my list in alphabetical order. (I wont be reading them in order)
